For over fifty years BYU Travel Study was the leader in educational travel in the LDS church and the largest provider for Mormon tours.  Founded in 2004 after BYU closed, LDS Travel Study continues to focus on LDS tours that are created on an informative and spiritual emphasis.  LDS Travel Study visits locations worldwide with ties to the LDS faith and educational values.  In November of 2008, LDS Travel Study became a division of Morris Murdock Travel, a leader in the travel industry for 50 years!

What makes our tours different from other tours?

Don't be fooled by other companies advertisements! Sometimes if a tour is adversting that you will have fun for less money, often you are getting less on the tour and end up paying additional costs along the way of your trip.

All of our in-depth programs will teach cultural, political, geographical, geological, and other areas of learning specific to the sites. The directors often speak the language of the foreign countries involved or have lived in the areas they direct to.  This helps the participants develop a love and appreciation for the local people and their cultures. With our tours there are no hidden costs. You  know before you go (what to expect) the total cost of what your tour will be! On most of our tours, we include two meals per day, entrance fees, tipping and group travel insurance. Once at your destination there is no need to keep paying for unexpected costs. Most likely, if you pay for less - you are getting less!  Once on tour, all you pay for are your lunches and souvenirs and then, you can start to enjoy your travel experience!

Our tours are targeted to people who want a learning and spiritual element to their recreational travel.  The programs are fun and enjoyable but the participants carry away much more at the end of the tour!
